Faculty

The faculty at College consists of the Dean, the Associate Dean, and two administrative staff. They have responsibilities to handle the administrative and teaching affairs of the College, as well as doctoral degree and bachelor degree in Marine Biotechnology. The College undertakes the “Committee on Fisheries Extension” for promoting the fishery and implementing some training program to fishermen, the important contact person to Academics, Industry, Fishery Association and also fishermen.

In order to improve the research and teaching quality, the College called in some National Chair Professors which are well-known scholars with outstanding academic position and research achievements. They will assist in teaching, sharing their experience, and handling large-scale research projects. We hope that the experience and research talents of the lecture professors could be useful for the college.

The Endowed Chair Professor including (1) Department of Food Science: Dr. Shann-Tzong Jiang, Dr. Shi-Yen Shiau, Dr. Bonnie Sun Pan, and Dr. Sen-Shyong Jen; (2) Department of Bioscience and Biotechnology: Dr. Jen-Leih Wu; (3) Institute of Marine Biology: Dr. Kwang-Tsao Shao.
The staff members have responsibilities to handle the administrative and teaching affairs of the College, as well as doctoral degree and bachelor degree in Marine Biotechnology. They also promote the fishery and implement some training program to fishermen. Ms. Shu-Chun Kuo, counseling psychologist who assists in mental health services of students.
