The Biotechnology Education and Research Center established to promote the quality of biotechnology teaching and research, cultivate high-tech specialists and assists in solving the biotechnology-related problems. The Center also promotes the development of bio-industry and education units supported by the government.

The Terrestrial Animal Experiment Center created to provide a better environment and experimental equipment for terrestrial animal experiment, and promote the teaching and research quality The mission of this center is to (1) provide the animal room – the predecessor of the experimental animal center established (2) assist in the joint project which engage in terrestrial animal experiment.

To promote and popularize the food industry research and effect, to advance our department be cooperate and the development with industrial field.

This center is facilitated with freshwater and marine ornamental fish room, fry hatchery room, juvenile culture room, living organism’s culture room, broodstock room and wet laboratory. The aims of this center are to train undergraduate students to learn aquaculture techniques, to provide the teachers of senior high school to learn new technology.

The Traceability Certification and Inspection Center set up the inspection center and established the methods for assaying veterinary antibiotics residues, pesticide residues, heavy metal residues and environmental bacteria in seafood and established the certification organization of traceability system and hygienic management mechanism in seafood product. We have helped Taiwan aquaculture product to establish the traceability system model.

Center for Electron Microscopy (CEM) offer the facilities and spaces for the researchers who study the microstructure and/or the microanalysis of biological as well as material matters. The CEM has one preparing room, TEM rooms, STEM room and one dark room; equipment such as TEM, STEM, EDX,SEM, ultramicrotome and so on.
