Aquatic Animal Center

The Aquatic Animal Center originally supported by the Ministry of Education was established in 1998 as the experimental station for undergraduate student practice. School offered department with near 400 acres area. Then, the experimental station began to operate since September, 1999. After several years operations, School support to rebuild the shrimp aquaculture ponds, and broodstock ponds. In 2006, School invested four million dollars to build a two-floor building and the center renamed as Aquatic Animal Center. This center is facilitated with freshwater and marine ornamental fish room, fry hatchery room, juvenile culture room, living organism’s culture room, broodstock room and wet laboratory. The aims of this center are to train undergraduate students to learn aquaculture techniques, to provide the teachers of senior high school to learn new technology.
