Center for Electron Microscopy

Center for Electron Microscopy (CEM) was established in 1994 for offering the facilities and spaces for the researchers who study the microstructure and / or the microanalysis of biological as well as material matters. The CEM has one preparing room, three microscope rooms and one dark room. The workers just bring their specimens to the CEM and can finish all works for electron microscope examination about microstructure or microanalysis by using the facilities. The center also offers technique service as well as courses.

Services

The CEM provides courses including biological electron microscopy (x1), experiment in biological electron microscopy (x3), advanced electron microscopy (I, II) (x2, x2), introduction of electron microscopy (x3) and analytical electron microscopy (x2). Some short training courses, technique services and consultation are also offered.
